The Pointer, sometimes erroneously referred to as the English Pointer, is a founding member of the Gundog Group, was present at the first dog show held in the 19th Century in England, and features as the dog on the Logo of the American Westminster Kennel Club.
Our Pointers have been a blessing to our home and we have dogs from some of the Premier Breeders in the world. Our foundation bloodlines have been selectively chosen with the support, mentorship and guidance of Diane O'Neill Principal of 'Chesterhope' Pointers (NZ), Joseph & Renata Mirto 'Hipoint Gundogs', and Christine Cunningham & Peter Serle of 'Knusprig' German Shorthairs with whom we co-bred our very own brother & sister dynamic duo -- '"Rubble" & "Princess Leia" the current Sydney Royal Best of Breed & Runner-Up Best of Breed Winners. We are deeply grateful to all of the above personages.
In 2010 we purchased our sweet girl "Scarlett" 'Aust Ch Hipoint Midnight Liaison' (pictured above at 4 mths pointing ducks in our backyard) whom we owned in partnership with her breeders Joseph & Renata Mirto of 'Hipoint Gundogs' in Sydney.
They say it takes a village to raise a child-- In our case, it took a village to create a litter of 15 puppies!
In 2016 with the encouragement and support of our good friends & mentors, Christine Cunningham and Peter Serle 'Knusprig', & Diane O'Neill of 'Chesterhope', we co-bred Scarlett to one of Diane O'Neill's Super Sires -- NZ Champion Chesterhope Stormn Normn.
In this endeavour, we were also assisted by Steve & Jackie Wraith 'Beautelle'.
From this litter, we retained several show quality puppies including Australian Champion Knusprig More Than This (AI) "Rubble" & his sister Australian Champion Knusprig A Little Night Music (AI) "Princess Leia" who together won Best Of Breed and Runner-Up Best Of Breed at the prestigious Sydney Royal Easter Show 2019.
